What I feared the most since my pregnancy finally came true this afternoon.. The doctor confirmed that Hafiy may also suffer the same kidney problem as his big brother Hazyq..
Time pregnant ari tu dah detect possibility when we did a detail scan on the fetus/baby.. Nampaklah kidney die sebelah kiri mcm swollen sket dari belah kanan.. Dr.Siti (my gynae) kata masa dlm perut lagi susah kalu nak buat ape2 cume boleh monitor thru ultrasound jer and in some cases bile baby lahir, kidney tu okay dengan sendirinye.. Mmg kiteorg berdoa sgt2lah bile lahir die kidney die okay..
Since dah tau possibility kena macam Hazyq tu ada so masa Hafiy lahir2 tu dah bgtau paed die, Dr. Indon. Doc ni yang dulu in charge kes Hazyq sbb die mmg specialist on kidney problems for infants/children.. Doc tu advice bile Hafiy one month old baru boleh buat ultrasound and tgk results die camne..
So tu yang tadi gi hospital buat ultrasound.. Bile doc tu tengok results die mmg nampaklah perbezaan condition on both kidneys.. Right kidney mmg normal cume left kidney yang nampak lain and swollen.. Condition ni dipanggil hydronephrosis.. You can click here for more info on the condition.. Basically condition ni caused by saluran ke pundi kencing die mungkin sempit sgt atau tersumbat yg menyebabkan aliran kencing die turun dengan lambat dan condition ni yg buat kidney die bengkak..
The good news is doc kata so far tak nampak serius sgt sampai perlukan immediate surgery so in the mean time monitor in every 2-3 months utk tgk condition kidney tu whether bertambah swollen or not.. in some cases the baby will outgrow from this condition and the kidney will be back to normal..
Kiteorg mengharap sgtlah die akan okay lepas ni.. Tak sanggup tgk Hafiy suffer macam abang die dulu sampai kena surgery..

anyway, didoakan hafiy akan improve kidneynya as normal... kita sbg ibu doakan je la... insya Allah semuanya atas ketentuan Allah.
min nak tau la apa yg menyebabkan berlaku kes mcm ni. bile actually detect ttg kidney problem kat hazyq? n kalau abg dia dah penah jadi, mmg adik ada high chances untuk jdk jugak ke?
za.. aku doakan hafiy ok.. sabar ye.. dugaan Allah tue.. Allah xmenguji kita seandainya kita x mampu handle.. aku tau kesedihan tue.. sbr byk2 kay..
Min, aku pun x tau macam mane bole jadik.. dah tanye doctor tapi die kata tak semestinye all siblings kena.. aku pun tanye gak ape yg boleh sebabkan ni and die pun kata sometimes it happens..
Aku ada gak cousin & uncles yg mmg sakit buah pinggang .. mungkin genes kot.. ape2 pun ini ketentuan Tuhan.. so kite hadapinye semana yg mampu and ikhtiar mana yg boleh..
