MY HOME OFFICE..

This is my new home office.. its actually our third bedroom but my resourcefull hubby converted it into an office and part storage area.. InsyaAllah, I will be spending lots of my time here after this..

As you can see, I also have a mini studio to take pix of Elyzzmode products.. The orange chair which i lurve was a gift from dear hubby.. There is also a comfortable chair beside the workstation for discussion purpose with family/friends (Nowwa.. actually aku masa letak kerusi tu with u in mind ye.. heheh)..

Its not that big but its just perfect for me :)

A YEAR OLDER BUT WISER?

.

I do think that I am a lot more wiser than last year..

32 is just a number.. After turning 30.. adding years after that is actually not so bad..

.

Alhamdulillah.. This past year I have achieved quite a lot..

An adorable baby boy, a bag boutique with my name on it (the feeling of seeing your name up on a store signage is simply awesome!), an online business, supportive family & friends and having the guts to finally quit my job of eight years..

.

Hmm.. Not too bad for a 32-year-old..

.

And this year I got to celebrate my birthday (although it was the next day) with my wonderful hubby.. just the two of us :)

Alhamdulillah.. I am blessed and thankful for so many things in my life..

Looking forward to another wonderful year ahead which I think will be challenging as I will be embarking into the unknown after my final days at work..

SMS ni dapat dari hubby kul 9.30pm semlm.. Masa tu die kat badminton court clubhouse.. Aku lak masa dpt sms ni baca skali pintas jer and jeling kat bawah meja dari jauh.. Tengok plastic beg tu tak terusik so ok la kot asalkan Hazyq tak main..pastu terus lupe sbb 5 saat lps baca sms tu tengok si Hazyq tengah nak angkat dukung Hafiy.. ape lagiii..panikkk la.. sib baik takde ape2.. si adik sengih jer lak bile abangnye dukung.. harunye HAHA boys aku ni..

Kul 11.00pm hubby balik tapi langsung tak teringat pasal plastic putih tu.. Last2 kul 12.30 mlm statement ni kuar dari mulut hubby --> "U ni mmg tak ikut arahan ek.."

Eh, pesal lak hubby aku ni.. Bile pandang die baru la perasan die pandang plastic putih tu..

YESSS... VERY SUREEEE

ARE YOU SURE?? .. SURE OR NOT??.. DAH PIKIR MASAK2??.. MUKTAMAD KE NI??

I have been asked these questions many times when my family, friends & colleagues know about my intention to resign.. Although it took me almost two months from my target date but finally i've submitted my resignation letter to my Boss and also to the HR Head dated 3 May 2010..

.

I was expecting to be scared and overwhelmed by the finality of my decision (once you've submitted the 'R' letter, you can never undo it) BUT I actually felt GREAT! Its as if a burden has been lifted from my shoulders and now I found myself doing my work happily and smiling.. Its such a wonderful feeling knowing that I have just two more months to look forward to changing my status from a full-time working mom to a WAHM (Work at Home Mom)..

.

Don't get me wrong here.. I am very much aware of the challenges I'll be facing after I resign.. No more monthly fix income to rely on (which although not much to some but it does pay the bills and afford me some lil luxuries of my own).. After this i need to be prudent in my spending.. Cut down on unneccesary expenses and hopefully I can pay off my credit card debt so that i can be debt free by the time i resign.. Importantly, is to make do with what I have by resisting the urge to shop for unnecessary things (this will be definitely the hardest thing to do)

.

Looking at the bright side of it... This will give me more time with my family especially the HAHA boys.. At least I will save money on fuel from commuting to work and also I dont have to shop for work clothes anymore and I will definitely save a bit more on the breakfast, lunch and sometime tea expenses I would have to fork out during work..

.

Another silver lining is that now I will definitely have more time to concentrate on my biz and also venture into new biz and projects.. So Nowwa..tunggu ye 2 bulan lagi ok pasni kite boleh luaskan empayar kite..hahahaha

.Atas nasihat pihak tertentu.. i have been asked to postpone my resignation to 1st May 2010.. Why? Katanye increment akan masuk bulan ni..walaupun dah tau seciput tapi at least duit jugak kan so apa la salahnye tunggu 2 minggu lagik.. Tapi yg suspen tu ada lak ura2 kata kalu ranking Silver tak dapat increment langsung.. hmmm... tak salah kan being optimistic.. .

Pasal kes bonus tu, suka tak suka i redha jer la and bersyukur.. Cuma skang staff kat company i tu masih marah lagi and ramai juga yg akan resign.. FYI, ramai staff kat company tu sudah gi keja ngan company our ex-MD coz sume tau die jenis yg akan fight for staff welfare and respect staff contributions....

.Korang ingat company yg diterajui pompuan ni bagus sgt ke? Ingat dieorg ni lagi prihatin ke? Family oriented ke? Concern pasal welfare? Hmmphh... sungguh meleset andaian korang kalu tu yg korang pikirkan.. Tu sbb Allah kata lelaki yg sepatutnye jadik pemimpin.. Sejak company being run by the Divas.. mmg ramai yg sengsara.. kalu cuti dipanggil masuk keja, kalu anak sakit pun susah nak cuti, raye lagi la org yg keja operations tu mmg tak dibenarkan cuti, asyik nak mengampu org gomen jer smp skang org gomen dah pijak kepala kiteorg ni, sanggup spend beribu dan berjuta utk entertain contacts masing2 tapi when it comes to staff susah sgt nak reward.. kalu boleh sume nak slash..

I prefer keja ngan lelaki garang and strict dari keja ngan pompuan2 yg emotional, giler glamer, fickle and hati kering.. (Unofficial survey kat company tu says staff mostly prefer the old management male team dari skang ni).

.

Alhamdulillah la my hubby bagi brenti keja and fokus on anak2 and biz.. Kalu gamaknye kena keja gak, mmg jawabnye apply keja tempat lain sbb dah tak tahan sgt dah ngan situation kat company skang ni.. Member2 kat luar tu gaji sume dah lebih RM 5k and dah naik pangkat ke manager.. I ni keja dah 8 thn tp still Senior Exec pastu gaji.. hmm.. beza sket jer dr masa start keja dulu....

.

FYI, according to the consultant, gaji staff kat company i ni actually is below the current industry ye and walaupun our MD is among the top 10 highest paid GLCs CEO/MD and our company is the cash cow to the parent company, rupe2nye our renumerations (salary, benefits, etc) are among the lowest compared to others in the Group.. .

. .

Kesimpulannye, terima ape yg ada and kalu dah tak boleh terima, keluar sajelah.. mungkin rezeki kite bukan di sini lagi..

SAJE NGOMEL

Tak nak tulis apa sgt pun cume rindu yang melampau pulak ngan my hubby ni.. Dah lama tak kena tinggalkan laki dah jadik tak keruan pulak.. Hmm.. manja sangat ke aku ni kalu rasa camni? Malam2 takde teman borak and gaduh la.. Nak gaduh ngan budak2 ni bukannye menang pun (at least ngan abah die skali skala menang gak) Anyway, sian jugak kat budak2 ni rindukan abahnye especially Hazyq..

Hishkk.. bile time2 camni rasa mcm tak tergamak pulak nak tinggalkan budak2 ni nanti dlm bulan 5 ke bulan 6 ni.. Tapi kalu tak pegi camne nak gi carik stock barang nanti.. Lagipun pegi pun demi masa depan budak2 ni jugak.. Walaupun nanti terpaksa tinggalkan dlm 4 hari tapi InsyaAllah hari2 lain dapat spend time and focus kat budak2 ni lebih dari masa skang ni..

Hmm.. petang2 Jumaat nak tunggu 5.30 ni boleh pulak macam2 nak dipikirkan..

TAK SESAT.. JALAN JAUH JER YE KENGKAWAN....

Been meaning to do a post on this but kept postponing coz was kinda busy.

Last week, Nowwa was telling me that there will be a GALZ DAY OUT for few close friends from UIA and was wondering if I would like to join.. Thank god I did coz if i didnt, then I would missed out on a very very FANTASTIC, FABULOUS & FUN DAY!

.

Memandangkan Nowwa ni bini askar so die amatlah particular pasal timing ni so awal2 die dah kasi tau yang die akan pick-up by 10.00am at guardhouse after die amik Aizah dari rumah die at 9.30am.. so jangan sape2 nak lambat okay..

Semangat and akur punye pasal, 9.45am I dah ready u!

So off we go to amik Fuzah at LRT Ampang Park but before that we singgah kat Jln Klang Lama dulu to deliver Nowwa's chocs to client die.. Chocs die mmg sedap so kalu nak order sila click sini ya (iklan jap).. Disebabkan client die ni tak tau gamaknye kiteorg ada schedule to follow so die lak yg lambat jadik timing sudah lari..ngamuks la Nowwa..

After amik Fuzah, kiteorg pun off to Pavillion to jalan2 and makan2.. Ingatkan I sorang jer tak penah sampai ke sana (bukan tak nak gi tapi sbb maleh nak ke area KL time weekend) tapi rupe2nye Aizah & Fuzah pun tak penah ke sana... hahahha... tiga2 orang KL tapi tiga2 tak penah sampai sana.. yang rajin ke sana si Nowwa yang dok Seremban tu... hahaha..lawaks kan..

Kiteorg pun jalan2 la sket kat Pavillion tu with Nowwa as tour guide tapi sbb bukan time sale pastu gaji tak masuk lagi and then harga barang2 kat situ mmg walaweiii so takde la interested sgt nak shop.. Since mood shopping takde so kiteorg terus la ke agenda makan2.. We decided on Tony Romas..

Although the food & drinks was delicious but yang paling best the borak2 and gosip2 session sampaikan we all tak sedar dah hampir 2 jam lebih dok situ.. Macam2 diborakkan and digelakkan..

Dah setel makan kiteorg pun off ke agenda seterusnye iaitu Hi-Tea die rumah Sue @ Bukit Jelutong.. Disebabkan ramai sgtlah pandai bagi direction termasuk I yg cerdik pandai ni (yg mmg tak reti sgt jln tp berlagak tau.. sori ye korang!) so perjalanan yg sepatutnye boleh sampai dlm setengah jam telah dipanjangkan ke satu jam setengah.. huru hara keadaan dlm keta tu.. in the end, Nowwa terpaksa on the phone ngan Sue supaya guide sampai depan umah die.. hahahha.. lawak giler time tue...

As Nowwa cakap, tak sesat okay cuma salah simpang jer...

.

Sampaikan mula2 perjalanan tu kenyang giler tapi by da time sampai umah Sue, sume dah lapo and haus giler.. Sib baik Sue masak sedap2.. Yang paling best skali roti puri die (first time makan and terus jatuh cinta) and the ever delicious choc moist cake die (which i am a fan since zaman sekolah dulu).. Yang kalakonye Sue kata kalu tak sampai2 gak umah die, dah ada contingency plan bagi food yang byk tu ke jiran2.. hahahah

OKAYYY
Call me old-fashioned..
but is it sooo wrong if I were to say that I still prefer my Avent Manual Breastpump???
.
I have been using my new Medela Swing BP since last Friday but although there are some advantages to using it such as:
- my hands are quite free (at least one of them) so I can use to type or browse the net
- not so tiring to the hands
- can multitasking while pumping
BUT
- it is just toooooo bulky & heavy to carry
- such a hassle to assemble
- i think it took the same time (or sometimes longer) to finish
- the output is not as much when using the manual (sometimes a difference of 2-4oz!)
- and it just hit me today that there are no visible power points in my office store (my manufacturing area) so I need to use the batteries (which Alhamdulillah someone in the office had some to spare)
.
HOWEVER
coz i spent around rm650 (in the market it retails for rm799 but i found a great deal @ wanitamelayu.com) so i will make an effort to get use to my new Medela Swing..
.
HOPEFULLY
with the help of both pumps.. i can fully BF my baby at least up to a year (if possible more)

BESTNYE BERCUTI WITH FAMILY

Believe it or not sejak berkahwin kiteorg belom pernah lagi berkesempatan bercuti ramai2 satu family with my parents & siblings.. Alhamdulillah masa cuti Maulud Nabi 26 Feb hari tu dapat la kiteorg bercuti sama2.. Since this is our 1st family trip so kiteorg try la cuti dekat2 dulu so atas suggestion my SIL, we decided utk bercuti ke Avillion PD..

Mmg best tempat tu coz byk activity for kids.. actually Hazyq asalkan ada pool jer dah orait sgt la tu..hehe..Kiteorg amik 4 water chalet package 3D/2N.. 2 kiddies treat package and 2 pampering treat package.. Kiddies package dapat goodies, ice cream, milk shake & fries for 2 children.. Pampering package lak include 30 minutes head & back massage or foot reflexology for 2 adults.. Lagi worth it amik package camni.. nak tau further click sini ye..

Apa yang best kat sane? Banyakkkk...antaranye..

- water chalet die cantik & quite spacious (the bathroom mmg best & beso giler)

- ada pet farm where u can feed the animals (rabbit, chickens, peacock, etc)

- private beach yg bersih and cantik

- kids activity club (playground, video game, art activities, batik drawing, lego, toys, books, etc)

- family & kids pool with slide (ada jacuzzi skali)

- adults pool only (sesuaiu utk sape2 yg nak elakkan keriuhan budak2 atau nak merendek laki bini)

- nature walk & jogging track (my parents suka ni sebab tmpt die byk pokok2 and penuh dengan kehijauan)

- Avi Spa yang mmg cantik and modern tapi ni untuk yg byk duit la sbb treatment die sume rm120 ke atas

Post ni sebenonye atas permintaan Cik Sue yang pandai masak tapi yang heran nak gak tau resipi puding roti yang aku buat... padahal tu la yg paling senang nak buat utk orang macam aku yg tak reti nak masak resipi2 yang lebih sejengkal panjang...

Mini Bread Pudding
(resipi ni aku dapat dari internet)

Bahan-bahan ( 6 keping )

• 2 keping roti putih
• 2 sb tepung jagung
• 3 sb gula halus
• 100 ml susu cair
• 2 biji telur (guna 1 putih telur saja)
• 1-2 titik esen vanilla
• sedikit buah2an campuran/kismis/kurma atau lain2 ikut selera
• sedikit gula icing untuk tabur atas puding

mangkuk muffin - disapu majerin

Cara-cara

• Roti di siat2 kecil atau potong 1 inc. persegi.
• Tepung,gula,susu,telur dan esen dikacau hingga sebati.
• Masukkan roti dan buah2an campur (aku bubuh kismis aje) ke dalam mangkuk muffin.
• Tuangkan campuran susu sambil ditekan2 roti supaya meresap.Buat hingga habis.
• Susun mangkuk2 muffin berisi puding atas dulang pembakar dan bakar hingga masak kecoklatan.
• Biarkan puding roti seketika dan keluarkan dari mangkuk muffin

Sos kastad:- Panaskan setengah cawan susu cair & 2 sb gula dalam periuk pastu masukkan 3sb tepung kastad yg dah dibanduh ngan sedikit air. Kacau ler sampai pekat.

**Aku gune roti Gardenia Butterscotch tu.. lagi lazatt**

Sifu Nowwa, okay tak ko tengok masakan aku tu? heheh.. aku tau ko lagi hebat masak.. aku masih amatur lagi...
